B.S. Civil Engineering, Class of 2025
“My parents farm a small plot in Loakan. Without LEAP, engineering school was a dream I would have quietly let go. Today I design the roads that connect our barangay to the city.”
Through the LEAP Scholarship, we turn academic promise into college degrees, helping deserving youth from Loakan and beyond rise above financial hardship to become leaders in their communities.
LEAP is built for academically qualified but financially challenged youth in the Philippines, students whose grades open doors their family budgets cannot. Each scholar receives full or partial college tuition, a textbook allowance, and one-on-one mentorship from alumni and volunteers who guide them from their first semester to graduation day.
Academic standing: a strong general weighted average and a record of consistent effort in senior high school or college.
Financial necessity: a household income below the foundation's need baseline, verified through family documentation.
Community involvement: active participation in church, barangay, school, or volunteer service, and a commitment to give back.
Residency: priority for youth from Loakan and the communities surrounding the Philippine Military Academy.

“I am the first in my family to finish college. Now I teach mathematics in the same public high school I graduated from, and I tell my students their dreams are worth chasing.”
